How did your team get started?

Double H Racing was started when three college friends came together and wanted to go hillclimbing professionally.

In 1998 C.R. Eisenzimer  was racing pro motocross in the Montana State Motocross Circuit.  While in college he met two friends, Ryan Riley and Dale Neitzel who liked to ride motorcycles just for the pure enjoyment of it.

In 2000 C.R. went to Billings, MT to ride in the Trophy Class at Great American Hillclimb.  That's when they were hooked.     In 2002 C.R. entered the pro class on the championship hill and his pro hillclimb career started.  The following year the three of them came up with the name Double H Racing (describing all three of them as Hillclimbing Hicks, because between the three of them they are farmers, ranchers and mechanics from Montana) and traveled together to several pro hillclimbs in the Northwest.

In 2004 the three friends bought a 27' enclosed trailer and traveled to all of the events on the N.A.H.A Pro Tour.  In 2005 they added a fourth member to the team.  Tony Moorehead from Fort Benton, MT would prove to be a great asset to the team, as a metal fabricator and his expertice has been well used.  That season Tony, Dale and C.R. all placed in the top 20 in the series points at the end of the season.  They have been competing well with the top riders in the N.A.H.A Suzuki, Racer X Pro Hillclimb Series ever since.

What is your team mission/ motivation?

Double H Racing believes that we can be beneficial to the advancement of hillclimbing.  If we can help connect our family oriented sport with the right people (sponsors, media, promoters) the possibilities look very fruitful for everyone involved.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

Being crowned Champion of the Open Exhibition class at The 2007 Big Nasty Pro National Hillclimb in Boise, ID.

Finishing 06" and 07" points races ranked 8th the Suzuki, Racer X, N.A.H.A. Pro National Series season.

Having all three team members finish in the top 20 at the end of the 05" Suzuki, Racer X, N.A.H.A.  Pro National Series season.
