Gary began skateboarding in 1975 and has been riding for 33 years! In the early years everyone including Gary, was riding it all... banks, freestyle, slalom and pools.
In the late 70’s until 1984 Gary focused on Freestyle and discovered many tricks, some that others were later credited with.
Continuing to skate in the mid 80-90’s he was riding skate parks, street-style, pools and ditches.
In 2001 he renewed his enthusiasm for slalom racing and began competing on the National level resulting in several podium finishes and several appearences on TV including on FUEL and BLue Torch TV.
In early 2004 with renewed enthusiasm Gary re-entered freestyle skateboarding and was crowned the State Champion in 2005 and in 2007 he was crowned the Master World Champion in Freestyle skateboarding and became the World 360 Champion.
Gary is one of the best all-around skateboarders today and is proud of his philosophy on skateboarding and it’s real simple, HAVE FUN!
