Why do you like this sport?
BMX has opened doors for me in my life that I never would have found with out my bike. I can't thank BMX enough for helping me see the world and meet all the amazing people. It helps me relieve stress. It helps me set goals... and go after them
Describe your style...
Ha... I use to be considered a huge trail hucker... then I got into the tech stuff at little skate parks... then foam pits started popping up, and I got into the big tricks again... I flow, ride fast, and toss some huge bangers in there at the same time. I recently put a freecoaster on my bike... and that's already opened some new doors for my riding style.
Music?
Music really effects the way I ride... I listen to all kinds of it, but I'm not the guy who will list off a bunch of names of bands or groups you haven't heard of just to feel cool. I still like Fall Out Boy... I still like Blink 182... I sill like Hanson... I never stop liking a song. Atmopshere, Sage Francis, Brother Ali, and stuff from the 80's has been playing the most in my iPod lately though...
What inspires you to compete?
When I'm at a comp, it finally gives me a chance to try that trick you have been thinking about... plus, you get to look at the park different then when it's packed with kids... at Dirt comps though, it's all about just going big... and I love that!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be involved in the BMX industy somehow... it's an untapped market, and I think I could make a buck or two... joking joking. But seriously, I love teaching kids how to ride... maybe I could get a job at Woodward or something. I am also really into marketing and retail... just being creative is fun. Who knows... I have to finish college and stuff first... the last thing I'm worried about right now is growing up.

A baby bike was left on my doorstep... so I raised her...

I don't look at what things I do as accomplishments... I'm just a guy out having fun on his bike every moment he can.
