Q&A - Personal
What inspires you to compete?
I just love everything about mountain biking, it's all I do, I just love flying down the mountain doing my best to beat anyone infront or behind me. Its just so much fun.
Why do you like this sport?
I like mountain biking because it is such a rush to go flying down the mountain. Also its really fun racing downhill with my friends just having a good time.
Music?
I love pretty much every single nickelback song, I also really like thousand foot krutch, skillet, switchfoot, and pillar. I am a Christian so it really reflects in my music.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I "grow up" i would love to be a professional dh (downhill)/ freerider. I already do that 24/7 so I think that it would be fun to do when I "grow up".
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
Yes. Every morning, at 6:30am, I do 20 push ups and 100 situps. Sometimes I do pyrimids which is pedal as hard as you can for 30 secs then take a 15 second brake and then 40 seconds as fast as you can then 15 second brake, then for 50 seconds......until I get to 90 seconds (leg strength training). Normally I bike to my friend Michael Capen's house which is 3 miles away and hang out, normally we ride around at a gravel pit that is a mile from his house. I prize physical fitness above most things.
